Good Morning Everyone
Today is Monday January 30, 2012
The word of the day comes a little different today. Last night as I was getting in bed, I went to say my prayers and ended up praying for almost 30 min because things and people kept coming to my head. I felt like there was too much to pray for. So today, keeping with what I like to call #NewBeginningMondays, I want to just lift you up in prayer to start this next week.
Father God we come before you today thanking You first and foremost for another day life. Realizing that another day of life means that You still have need of us or You would not have allowed breath to be in our lungs this morning. We thank You that Your mercies are new every morning. We thank You that today is New Beginning Monday and just as You have, allow us to forget our shortcomings, failures, inept, quarrels, setbacks, problems, issues, discouragements from the prior week. Let us start fresh as You continually do with us. Allow us to have a wonderful blessed productive stress free day in You. We lift up our spouses, our fiancés, our girlfriends, our children to you. Pray that they are blessed in you today on their jobs, in their schools, in our homes or their homes. We pray over our bosses and coworkers. We pray over how their morning has started and the effect that it may have on their attitude today. Pray that they safely made it in to work and feel more rejuvenated from sleep than in previous days. Pray over their ability to work wholeheartedly to accomplish the tasks set before them today on New Beginning Mondays. I pray for those who traveled to work this morning. Those going with and against the traffic. I pray against accidents, tiredness, fatigue, aggressive driving that leads to accidents, and simply not paying attention. I pray that everyone reaches their destiny safely without harm, hurt or danger occurring. I thank You for answered prayers that turned into praise from last week. I thank You for remaining our Father when we abandon You as children. Thank You for keeping us when we have decided not to be kept. Thank You for loving us when we decided we wanted to be unlovable. We love You for loving us. Forgive us of our sins and cleanse us of all our unrighteousness. Let today be the best day we have had thus far this year. Let today be the best we have felt spiritually, emotionally, physically, socially, mentally and financially. Let today be one with filled with promise, hope, praise and prosperity. Let all that we do be blessed in Your presence and all we set our mind to, favored in Your eyes. Continue to keep us and seal this prayer in the precious, wonderful, soul keeping, soul redeeming, soul ensuring, soul protecting blood and name of Jesus the Christ…amen.
